Papa Bear's Chocolate Haus at 45150 Main Street, Mendocino, California.

The chocolates, themselves, are very good. The staff was unwelcoming and rude. Mostly the more "mature" woman. She even went so far as to tell us to return the next day for the candies they were presently out of. Due to a friend's recommendation, we stayed around the next day until they opened, before continuing on our vacation north. We arrived 30 minutes after they opened and the woman continued her rudeness saying they "never made them and probably wouldn't for another week." Why on earth didn't she just say that yesterday? We could have been to Oregon by that time. The worst was that she not only didn't look you in the eye, she actually shrugged. You can bet they have lost a few customers. Not that they apparently care. Luckily the Mendocino Chocolate Company has a far friendlier crew. Both in Mendocino shop and in Fort Bragg. Plus they ship! ")
